Two Notre Dame BCS Championship retail stores open for business

Sports Fan Marketing Inc., a Scottsdale Ariz. based company specializing in sports retail merchandise, has opened two Notre Dame BCS Championship stores in the area.

Both locations, which launched on Dec. 3, offer more than 200 different types of officially licensed Notre Dame gear. Hats, T shirts, outerwear, ladies, kids, footballs, collectibles, novelties and glassware are all available for purchase as the Fighting Irish make their first appearance in the National Championship Game since 1993.

Location 1: The University Park Mall - Center Court Kiosk Promenade

Location 2: Broadmoor Plaza at the corner of Ireland Rd. and Miami St. in South Bend.

Both stores will remain open through the end of January, with national champion merchandise hitting store shelves on Jan. 8, should Notre Dame beat the University of Alabama in Miami.
