Windows 7 PC boots to my computer

My cousin called me and said his computer at the office is booting to the My Computer box, no desktop or anything. He removed a few toolbars and said he did a quick scan of malware and removed the 4 things it found and rebooted, since then it just goes to my computer.

I've never seen this happen before so I am not sure what to do here. System Restore was disabled so he cant go back a few days. He also ran another malware scan and found nothing. Any ideas?
