Andy Whitfield dies of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma; its rates have risen

Leukemia and lymphoma together affect more than half a million people. About 43000 people are diagnosed with leukemia (blood cancer) each year. More than 600000 people are living with lymphoma (cancer of the lymph glands) as a chronic disease.
