Two H-J girls basketball players sign with North Platte Community College

Hardin-Jefferson girls basketball players Jasmine Smith and LaTonya August both signed with North Platte (Neb.) Community College on Friday.

Smith, a 5-foot-11 guard, averaged 19 points and six rebounds as a senior. She was named Defensive Player of the Year in District 21-3A. August is a 6-foot forward who helped lead H-J to a 30-7 record.
